The Field Parasitology International Summer School is organized since 2011 in Danube Delta by a consortium of Universities: The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca (Romania), The University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Iuliu Hațieganu" of Cluj-Napoca (Romania), The Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (Czech Republic) and Charles University from Prague (Czech Republic).

The summer school is dedicated to undergraduate and post-graduate students in biomedical sciences, veterinary medicine and biology which want to improve their skills in field parasitology. The complex ecosystem, the climatic conditions and the high biodiversity create an ideal model for teaching and researching parasitology.
