Dear participants, we know that you are scientists but we also know that you like ticks and that you like to see a nice photograph of a tick. This is why we have decided to organize a photo contest during TTP.10. Here are the rules:

1. Eligible photos

• Photos can be submitted by registered participants
• The person who submits the photo must be the author and the copyright owner of that photo
• Only photos depicting ticks, tick structures or tick-borne pathogens are accepted

2. Categories

We will award the following prizes:

• The best macro photo of a tick
• The best microscopic photo (including SEM)
• The best histologic photo (no photos were submitted to this category)

3. How to submit your photo

Photos should be submitted by email to amihalca@usamvcluj.ro, at high resolution not later than 1 August 2022. When submitting the photo, please specify:

• the scientific name of the tick or pathogen
• a title for the photo
• the category for which you are submitting the photo

4. Selection process

• All received photos will be uploaded to this page
• All TTP.10 participants will be allowed to vote during the meeting
• The awards will be given considering the higher number of votes in each category
